RESPONSIBILITIES

• Escort customers to assigned dining or bar areas

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Must have work experience as a Hostess in a luxury restaurant or a 5* hotel environment
• Enjoy interacting with people
• Must have excellent presentation skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills are essential.
• Can speak multiple languages are preferred (English, German, French, Italian)
• Willing to work shifts

Rooms Division

The Chedi, Muscat is seeking for experienced Executive Housekeeper who has the passion on ensuring the highest standards of upkeep, hygiene and cleanliness of the hotel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the Housekeeping Department by developing and implementing departmental objectives in line with the hotel business objectives.
• Supervise housekeeping operations such as cleaning and maintenance whilst ensuring compliance with all housekeeping policies, procedures, standards and satisfaction of guests’ needs.
• Conduct regular inspections of the resort to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Take proactive action towards protecting the resort environment.
• Develop, implement and continually review the policies, procedures, practices and standards.
• Select, develop, and manage the performance of subordinates to ensure the efficient running of housekeeping operations
• Accomplish a set of administrative duties such as leading and attending meeting, writing reports and memos and other specific duties related to the job function.
• Manage operating expenses to minimize costs whilst providing excellent guest services and being responsible for all major operating expenses and has the capacities to set margins and manage the business against profit projections.
• Budget, forecast, and financial plan of the housekeeping and laundry departments and drive financial management of the operation.
• Develop and implement strategies to minimise absenteeism and to manage occupational health & safety issues.
• Responsible for enhancing the product and service that is presented to the guest.
• Recommend changes to the product and its services. Use market research to develop new products and services.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• High School, diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent education required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Must have work experience in housekeeping management in a luxury hotel or a 5* hotel environment
• Must have excellent presentation skills
• Strong leadership abilities, organizational and multitasking skills, attention to detail and taking ownership
• Active listening and effective communication skills

Property Maintenance

Seeking for an experienced General Mason and who is proficient with both modern power tools and traditional hand tools. Masons can expect to work in all weather and with various materials, lift and carry heavy objects, and read and assess technical drawings.

• Tile and marble fixing
